Damage is estimate at around one-hundred-thousand dollars for a Janesville farmer who lost a combine Wednesday. Janesville firefighters responded to a field in the 2600 block of South Oakhill Avenue about 2:30 in the afternoon. Firefighters dumped 1500 gallons of water on the combine to put it out. Investigators say it appears the fire is a result of radiant heat from the machinery igniting the corn husks. No one was reported hurt.
