Janesville police are investigating an incident of early morning gun play. Officers responded to the intersection of West Centerway and North Academy Streets about 2:00 a.m. Friday morning for a report of shots fired. While responding, police say several other citizens reported a similar incident in the 300 block of Academy. A legally parked vehicle was found to have been hit by gunfire several times. No one has been reported injured, and police say they have not suspects at this time.
