Fire damages Janesville home

Janesville fire officials are investigating an early morning blaze.  Shift Commander Scott Morovits says the fire at the corner of East Court and Jackman Streets was reported about 12:15 a.m. Thursday morning.  Morovits says smoke could be seen coming from the attic.  Firefighters made their entrance through the front door.  Damage was primarily confined to the attic with some on the second floor.  The two story home is currently under renovation.  No one was reported hurt.
