Two Janesville residents are facing drug charges after police say they uncovered a pot growing operation. 38-year-old John P. Hume and 58-year-old Shirlene H. Hume were arrested Monday night on charges of manufacturing and delivery of marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of cocaine. Police had their home in the 1000 block of Jerome Avenue under surveillance. During the search police say they found 11 marijuana plants in the basement.
