A Delavan police lieutenant is on paid suspension after being arrested following a domestic incident. A Walworth County Sheriff's Office press release says 43-year-old Todd Wiese was arrested on charges of strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct. Delavan police were called to Wiese's home Saturday afternoon for a “domestic situation at a private residence in Delavan." The police immediately called the Walworth County Sheriff's Office after it was known the incident involved a Delavan officer. The Walworth County District Attorney's Office has asked the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office to prosecute the case. Officials say Wiese was off duty at the time of the incident.
