A 66-year-old Beloit woman is dead after a weekend automobile crash. Beloit police say the single-vehicle accident happened just before 2:30 Sunday afternoon on McKinley Avenue, south of Newark Road. Officers say Essie M. Robinzine was driving north on McKinley when her vehicle left the road and hit a tree. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later was pronounced dead.
