The School District of Beloit invites the community to take part in this week’s “Flood Flint with Fresh Water!” bottled water drive.

All this week, Beloit Memorial High School will be collecting cases of bottled water to be delivered to Flint, Michigan, a community deeply in need of sources of uncontaminated drinking water. Minority Excellence Organization students will be accepting water all of this week and at Thursday and Saturday night’s home boys basketball games.  Anyone donating a case of bottled water gets into the games for free!  Freshmen and JV games begin at 5:45 pm; Varsity starts at 7:30.

Jim Duane of JDLogistics will be donating time and the use of a semi to deliver the water to Flint the beginning of next week.
