Trial planned for two accused in Beloit child’s death

Two of the suspects in the shooting death of a Beloit five-year-old are bound over for trial. Beloit Police Detective David Hoffman testified, during a joint preliminary hearing this morning for 24-year-old Isaac Torres and 23-year-old Sergio Ortiz, a confidential informant talked about a group of guys driving around looking for rival gang members.  21-year-old Eric Salazar-Mota and 18-year-old Hugo Martinez are also accused of being party to the murder of Austin Ramos Junior on the night of January 22nd. All four are in custody.
