A company planning to produce radioisotopes for medical imaging in Janesville takes a little time to celebrate. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan stopped by the Venue in the downtown Thursday to help congratulate and welcome SHINE Medical Technologies to his hometown. City Manager Mark Frieitag also joined the room full of community leaders to applaud SHINE for it’s accomplishments. SHINE CEO Greg Piefer calls the Nuclear Regulatory Agency’s approval a turning point The construction permit could allow the company to break ground near the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in the spring, and begin to fulfill the expectation of 150 new jobs.
