The Beloit Police and Fire Commission has whittled down to the list of police chief finalists to three. Human Resources Director Marianne Marshall says they include Rockford, Illinois Interim Police Chief Patrick Hoey, Branson, Missouri Police Chief Kent Crutcher, and Beloit Interim Police Chief David Zibolski. She says they’re invited back for a second round of interviews next Wednesday, with a public meet and greet scheduled in the evening. The Police and Fire Commission could make a final choice Thursday.
