A 27-year-old Janesville man is facing charges of Aggravated Battery while Armed after an early morning stabbing. Police Lieutenant Keith Lawver says the victim, suffering stab wounds to the neck, chest, and back, drove himself to the hospital about 4:00 o’clock this morning. Lawver says two men apparently had a disagreement over a woman at the Cotton Mills Apartments on North Franklin Street. Police say Erik L. Reents was taken into custody without incident at a residence on Janesville’s south side later in the morning.
