Rock University High School switching locations

Students at Rock University High School will have more to get used to than just a new academic year — their school is moving locations.

Janesville School District spokesman Patrick Gasper says the school is moving locations from UW-Rock County to BlackHawk Technical College.

Gasper says they’re moving for practical reasons, but that it’ll also be beneficial for the students of their technology and internationally driven program.

Principal Tina Johnson says the move will accommodate a growing program because they’ll no longer have a 45 student cap.

RUHS has operated on UW-Rock County’s campus since the 2014-15 school year.
