A grateful community plans to remember a lost K9 officer. Janesville Police Sergeant Todd Kleisner says a processional for K9 Hardy will begin about 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at Veterinary Emergency Services traveling down Racine Street to Jackson Street and then the police station for a short memorial. The processional will then depart west to Mineral Point, north on Washington to Highway 14 through Evansville, and then on to Memorial Pet Services in Middleton. K9 Hardy collapsed from complications due to an undiscovered cancer while on duty last week.
