Another fast food restaurant in Milton is closing. Burger King closed at the end of July. Now, McDonalds is expected to close Monday. Both restaurants had been on Highway 26 before a bypass was built east of the city three years ago. McDonalds was particularly isolated with no nearby exit. McDonalds workers say business picked up a bit when Burger King closed, but believe the company wasn’t willing to invest in corporate wide updates of the building. They were informed of the decision Tuesday.
