The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office identifies the Janesville woman killed in a wrong way crash on northbound I39/90 Monday. 78-year-old Dawn Barrenger died as a result of head and chest injuries sustained in the crash. Illinois state police say Barrenger was traveling the wrong way down the freeway when she crashed into another vehicle drive-by by a 25-year-old Loves Park man. He was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
