A trial is being planned for a 19-year-old Beloit man, accused in the December shooting death of a 16-year-old boy. Rock County Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer Tuesday morning offered Joldany Rodriguez an opportunity for a preliminary hearing.  Rodriguez waived his right, and also pleaded not guilty to a charge of being party to felony murder. Rodriguez is accused of orchestrating a drug deal which ended with shots being fired and 18-year-old Zachary E. Moen wounded, and 16-year-old Savion Latimer dead. Rodriguez is currently free on a five-thousand dollar cash bond.
