The Governor shares his thoughts about a new youth career center in Beloit.  Governor Walker toured Hendricks CareerTek, located in the Beloit Ironworks campus, Wednesday morning.  Created by the Stateline Boys and Girls Club, in collaboration with Diane Hendricks and Kim Bliss, the center will help address the growing need for highly-skilled workers in local businesses.  Governor Walker says in order to bridge the skills gap, we need to get creative, and Hendricks CarreerTek will provide crucial services to the students of Beloit who are interested in exploring careers in high-demand Wisconsin industries.  CareerTek is a privately-funded center and plans a ribbon cutting at 4:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
