Multi-Jurisdictional Judge candidate Karl Hanson is the top vote getter for the primary race in the Town of Harmony, Lima, and Milton.  Hanson picked up 240 votes.  Linda Meyer had the second highest vote count with 92, to join Hanson on the ballot in the upcoming April regular election.  Meyer narrowly defeated Donna Freeman who had 77 votes.  The multi-jurisdictional judge is a new position to replace the former town of Milton judge.  The only statewide primary was for the Department of Public Instruction.  In that race, incumbent Tony Evers and challenger Dr. Lowell Holtz will move on.  When it comes to voter turnout, Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson reports only 6% of eligible voters showed up at the polls.
