The City of Beloit Parks & Leisure Services Division will host a public listening session for the purpose of gaining awareness from the general public about the future of parks and recreation services in Beloit. The Parks & Leisure Services Division is in the process of completing and updating its master plan that will provide vision into the general direction of parks and leisure services for years to come. If you choose to attend the meeting you should expect the opportunity to share your thoughts on what you think the agency should focus on over the next few years.

This meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Rotary River Center in Riverside Park, 1160 Riverside Drive in Beloit. The consulting firm of Design Perspectives, Inc. will lead the meeting with the goal of soliciting public opinion from the community. In addition to this Town Hall meeting, a sample of households located within the City of Beloit will be chosen and asked to participate in a mail, telephone, or email survey which is scheduled for next month. If selected to participate in the survey, it’s hoped that you will consider taking a few minutes to respond and provide the consultant with your opinions.
