A local charity is hoping emptying a few soup bowls might help fill the coffers. Janesville Salvation Army Major Bob Fay says donations recently have been on the light side.  Fay says Christmas fundraising was down this year.  Fay says the annual Tin Cup Benefit, which emulates a “soup kitchen”, is set for lunchtime next Thursday at the Pontiac Convention Center.  He says the program will feature “MyPillow” founder Michael J. Lindell.  Fay says he’ll talk about his year’s on the street as a drug addict, and his transformation after an encounter with Salvation Army’s ministry.
