The Janesville Police Department is asking the public to help identify two people police believe shoplifted at a big box retailer.  Police are circulating security camera images of a woman and a man who police believe committed the thefts, early Wednesday afternoon at the Wal-Mart Deerfield Drive.  Police believe stole $700 of meat from the store.  Two separate images of the woman show that the woman might have hidden the stolen meat in the front of her coat.  Officers say the woman fled in a silver-colored SUV with unknown plates.  Another security camera image shows a man police believe stole an “electronic game item,” and then fled in a maroon-colored Chrysler Town and Country van and with the license plates removed.   Police are asking anyone with information about the thefts to contact the Janesville Police Department at 608-755-3100. People can also call Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at 608-756-3636.
