The Rock County Aging and Disability Resource Center and Rock County Council on Aging are helping local communities brace for an increase in the number of residents with mental decline. Dementia Care Specialist Cory Marsh says dozens of businesses have signed up to train in ways to keep sufferers welcome and secure. Marsh says fifty businesses have already gone through the training. To celebrate the success, the Dementia Friendly Community Network is planning an open house for 2:00 o’clock this Friday Afternoon at the Hedberg Public Library in Janesville.
