A 23-year-old Milton man is charged with the sexual assault of a Janesville woman. A criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court claims a week ago Sunday, Mauricio A. Perez knocked on the woman’s door, and forced his way into the home. While the complaint explains the woman could not identify her attacker, it appears he went to her home because they had common acquaintances. Perez is accused of pushing open the door, putting one hand over her mouth, and one on her neck, taking her into the kitchen and grabbing two knives. Police say Perez told them the sex was consensual and part of an ongoing relationship they kept secret because of their age difference. Perez is being held in the Rock County Jail on a $14 thousand bond.
