Beloit man arrested in Jansville shooting case

A 32-year-old Beloit man is facing charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and felon in possession of a firearm after a shooting in Janesville.  Anthony T. Gibson is accused of shooting a 32-year-old man outside a residence on North Washington Street last June.  Police say the shooting happened after an altercation between the two men, near the home of the mother of Gibson’s child.  A warrant was issued for Gison’s arest shortly after the shooting.  He was arrested Monday afternoon at the Janesville police station.
