The Rock County Health Department is urging people to get vaccinated for the flu, despite reports this year’s vaccine may have limited effectiveness. Nursing Supervisor Michell Bailey says it’s still very important. Bailey reminds anyone concerned to cover their cough, wash hands frequently, and stay home is getting sick. A study released in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences says this year’s vaccine effectiveness is predicted to only be 42%.
