The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a disturbance west of Milton. As of about 9:30 a.m. Thursday Authorities say they were shutting down County Highway “M” between Pine and Newville Roads. Law enforcement has set up a perimeter around a home on the north side of the road. Sheriff’s officials say a person who left the home, claimed a shot had been fired. No one has been reported hurt. Deputies are currently trying to negotiate with anyone in the home.
