The ink is barely dry on the state’s three-billion dollar deal with Foxconn, to build a factory in Mount Pleasant, and financial news out today shows the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer posted a 39% drop in third-quarter earnings. State Senator Janis Ringhand describes the revelation as “jaw dropping”.  The Democrat says her office plans to contact state officials about how this loss will affect Foxconn’s plans to build in Wisconsin.  Republican leaders pushed a $3 billion tax incentive plan saying it was worth the chance to bring up to 13-thousand jobs to the state.
