33-year-old Joseph Jakubowski of Janesville is sentenced to 14-years in federal prison on weapons charges.  Jakubowski prompted a ten-day manhunt in April after the theft of several guns at Armagedon Supplies in Janesville.  Public interest was heightened by the revelation Jakubowski had sent a lengthy manifesto to the president.  He was captured at a makeshift campsite in southwestern Wisconsin.  Jakubowski also used a profanity-laced oration to say he rejected the rules of law, and directed an expletive at the judge.  Federal prosecutors say Jakubowski’s anti-government views and reluctance to accept responsibility for his actions show he remains a threat.  A trial on state charges is still planned in Rock County Court next month.
