Director of the Family Birthing Suites Jennifer Fewless sees a return to more tradition names with the most popular boy’s names this year including Jack, Jace, Owen, Wyatt, and Colton. The most popular girl’s names are Sophie, Maya, Avery, Lily, and Olivia. Fewless says with so much preparation during pregnancy, and awareness of a baby’s gender, couples typically have a name picked out before they arrive. 435 babies were born this year at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Janesville.
