A 33-year-old Beloit man, accused in the shooting death of Eddie Jones of Illinois outside a Janesville home last May, pleads guilty to lesser charges in Rock County Court. Judge James Daily Thursday morning accepted pleas of guilty from Barquis D. McKnight to amended charges of Homicide by the Negligent Handling of a Dangerous Weapon, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Sentencing is set for March 2nd.
