The cold and snow is just what the Blackhawk Golden K Kiwanis needed to get their annual raffle fundraiser on track. Club members crowded along the shore of the Traxler Park Lagoon in Janesville Wednesday morning to launch the truck out on the ice. Spokesman Glenn Disrude says they were worried it wouldn’t happen a couple weeks ago, because of the warm weather and rains. The official guesses of when it will sink begin Saturday.
