The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic crash in the southwestern part of the county. Deputies say the single vehicle roll-over accident happened just before midnight Friday at Nelson and Carol in Avon Township. The sheriff’s office is also investigating a serious accident south of Janesville on Highway 51 at Townline Road. That accident happened about 5:00 o’clock Saturday morning. Janesville police are also investigating a serious traffic crash on East Milwaukee Street at Pontiac Drive. Officers say an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed on East Milwaukee about 9:00 o’clock Friday night hit a passenger car turning east on Milwaukee. Authorities say the SUV driver was critically injured, and two people in the car were seriously hurt.
