BTC nursing students enjoy top score

A local technical college may be building a bit of renown for one of its’ programs.  For the second year in a row, Blackhawk Technical Colleges nursing students either ranked number one or tied for the best composite score among all Wisconsin colleges on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.  During the last three years, BTC has graduated an average of 34 nursing students per year.  Based on the college’s graduate follow up survey, 97% of the students were employed within six months of graduation, and 100% of their employers were satisfied with the students’ technical education.
