It wasn’t two weeks ago that Janesville police warned residents a Felony Lane Gang was preying on unsecured checks and ID’s in cars, and already someone is under arrest. Lieutenant Terry Sheridan says an alert employee at the Chase Bank branch on North Wright Road recognized a suspect from an incident earlier in the day Thursday at the Chase Bank branch on North Arch Street. Officers were able to arrest the suspect while she was still in the drive-thru lane. 36-year-old Theresa L. Bryson of Oklahoma is facing an initial charge of Unauthorized Use of Personal ID. Sheridan says the stolen check in question came from the car of an Illinois woman who was visiting a dog park. Ironically, Sheridan says this suspect is not believed to be part of the same Felony Lane Gang previously in the area.
