Janesville native Bryan Steil makes it official.  The 37-year-old is running for the First Congressional District seat.  The Republican made his announcement Sunday inside a Janesville manufacturing plant, citing his support of quality jobs and education as two key issues he will act as a problem solver, in a Washington he describes as a non-stop crisis factory.  For nearly a decade Steil’s says he’s been proud to work for Rock County manufacturers.  He says he’s seen first hand, how too often the federal government gets in the way and puts up unnecessary roadblocks.  He says this leads to limiting growth and job opportunities. As far as other qualifications.  Steil also lauds his unanimous appointment by the State Senate to the UW Board of Regents where he’s acted as a budget hawk.
