A local organization, helping handicapped individuals lead more independent lives, is launching a new employability program. Aptiv Regional Employment Manager for Rock and Green Counties, Amanda Abbott says the Career Opportunity Readiness and Enhancement program will help ready potential employees. She says the CORE program assists adults with disabilities in job shadowing, career exploration, and prevocational skills. Abbott says Aptiv is currently recruiting individuals and businesses. The new program’s first 12-week session is scheduled to start July 10th.
