AUDIO: City Council delays decision on location of new fire station

The City of Janesville is no closer to choosing whether it will have to raze seven, or 12 homes to build a new central fire station.

The City Council on Monday night discussed two options for the station, which are both in the location of the current site.

In the end, the council voted five to two to pass both options on to the Plan Commission for review.

The Plan Commission is expected to look at both options in early April, and send one back to the City Council for final approval.
