A fallen police officer will be laid to rest Tuesday in Janesville. The funeral of MacFarland police officer Ryan Copeland of Janesville is planned for First Lutheran Church at 11:00 o'clock. Copeland was killed in a traffic accident while on duty last week and Janesville Police Sergeant Dean Sukus expects large numbers to pay their respects. Sukus says dozens of law enforcement agencies and hundreds of mourners are expected to attend. Janesville police will largely be responsible for traffic control along the procession route from First Lutheran Church west on Memorial and then north on Washington to Olivet cemetery. Traffic delays could last an hour.
