As the federal government reduces Medicare reimbursement, a local hospice provider works to compensate. Beloit Regional Hospice Marketing and Development Director Adena Dutter says that's why events like Saturday night' Doves and Diamonds fundraiser are so important. Dutter expects more than 300 people to attend, and raise more than $100 thousand during the 7:00 o'clock event at the Eclipse Center. She says Beloit Regional Hospice expects to serve more than five-hundred patients this year, regardless of their ability to pay.
