Governor Scott Walker orders that flags be flown at half staff in honor of fallen McFarland Police Officer and Janesville native Ryan Copeland.
The executive order calls for both the flags of the United States and the State of Wisconsin to be lowered Tuesday.
Walker says Copeland's legacy shows his true dedication to serving and protecting both his community and his country.
Copeland was killed in traffic accident in Dane County last week. His funeral is scheduled to take place Tuesday morning.
