Grandmother Charged in Connection with Baby Methadone Death

Authorities charge a 51-year-old Beloit woman with first degree reckless homicide for supplying the methadone that killed her one-year-old granddaughter.

Janesville Police Detective Eric Goth says 23-year-old old Strommen admitted that her mother, Tina Strommen provided her with the methadone she gave baby K'Myah.

Tina Strommen was arrested Monday and released from custody with a March court date, while Tallie Strommen remains in custody at the Rock County Jail.
