An elementary school in Janesville has a little more money to support curriculum in the area of art and science. The President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, and Americans for the Arts, have chosen Kennedy Elementary for a $10 thousand STEAM grant through the Ovation Foundation. Only eight schools across the county were recognized with the grant. President and CEO of Americans for the Arts, Robert Lynch says we can learn a lot from these eight schools and how they stand as role models for the educational system in America.
