A Janesville man is under arrest after being accused of shooting at another driver in a road rage incident Monday afternoon in Beloit.
Beloit Police say 30-year-old Kevyn J. Whitehead yelled at another driver for driving too slow, pulled out a gun and fired a shot near the area of Milwaukee Road and White Avenue
The bullet punctured a tire of the victim’s vehicle.
The victim later spotted Whitehead in a business parking lot in the 3200 block of Colley Road and contacted Beloit police.
A handgun and a “small amount” of cannabis were located inside Whitehead’s vehicle. He was taken into custody on the possible charge of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
