The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports a 50-year-old Janesville man was ordered out of a garage at gunpoint during a Hit and Run crash investigation.  Deputies were responding to a report of a truck crashed into a tree at Happy Hollow Park Wednesday afternoon a little before 2:00 o’clock.  They were diverted to a report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of West Sunny Lane.  That’s where they say they found Curtis J. Ranum hiding.  The sheriff’s office reports Ranum could not perform the field sobriety test because of his injures, but did submit to a Preliminary Breath Test. The results were .o8, but because of four prior OWI convictions, Ranum has a prohibited alcohol concentration of no greater than .o2.  He’s now facing a May 12th court date on a charge of 5th Offense Operating While Intoxicated.
