Firefighters from multiple departments are kept busy by three fires in the Town of Beloit.
The first call came in around 10:00 Tuesday morning in the 4000 block of South Gesley Road where firefighters found a 40 by 70 foot shed fully engulfed.
It took 40 firefighters from more than a dozen agencies about and hour to contain the fire.
The second call came in just after noon in the 3800 block of West Bass Creek Road where a controlled fire had gotten out of control, and was beginning to burn four acres of woods.
That fire was quickly extinguished, and damage was limited to about $1,500.
The third call came in just after 1:30 in the afternoon in the 1400 block of Happy Hollow Road where firefighters found a grass fire that was beginning to spread to some nearby woods.
Due to limited access it took more than four hours to fully extinguish that fire.
