A Walworth County highway employee is injured after being struck by a vehicle.
Elkhorn police say a southbound vehicle driven by a 67-year-old female hit the worker on Interstate 43 while he was removing construction signs just after 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.
The injured employee was responsive and alert, and was transported to a local hospital.
