Beloit police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing convicted child sex offender. Officials say 35-year-old Michael G. Quade fled his residence at 1216 Portland street Tuesday night without his ankle monitoring bracelet. Quade was only released from the Rock Valley Community Program to that address a little more than two weeks ago. On-line court records indicate Quade has been convicted of tampering with a global positioning system tracking device at the same address before.
