The Janesville Police Department has two new officers. Chief David Moore says 29-year-old Matthias Meiklejohn is a married 29-year-old father with one son. Meiklejohn completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy last year and previously worked as a production manager for Signarama. He's a native of Janesville. 25-year-old Alex Wasemiller is a native of Milton. Wasemiller is currently working on a Master's Degree from DePaul University, and completed the police academy course at BTC this year. He's also a second generation police officer. His father Scott Wasemiller has been with the Janesville Police Department for 29-years.
