Another Janesville City Council member is ready to run for re-election. After being appointed in March, 62-year-old Rich Gruber will be running for for his first full term next year. Gruber says he has a very strong interest in seeing Janesville thrive. He currently works as a president at Mercy Health System. Gruber is also a board member for organizations such as the Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, HealthNet of Rock County, and the Rock University High School. His announcement Tuesday came one day after fellow council member Jim Farrell announced his intentions for re-election.
