A major thoroughfare between Beloit and Janesville is set to open Friday after seven months of construction.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Rock County oversaw the $17.5 million project, which reconstructed County G from Huebbe Parkway north to State Highway 11 West.
In addition, the $4.1 million County BT construction, which connects County G to County S, will resume in the spring of 2016 with completion in late May of 2016.
